Kylie Minogue 2025 leaked songs — first reaction

Wild Wild World — 3/5 (there’s only one ‘wild wild world’ song I can accept and it’s Cat Stevens’ one. Nice sentiment, unusual to hear her collab with rappers, but overall a pretty weak song)
Midnight Holiday — 2/5 (free edm music from 2013 youtube vibes)
Holding On — 4/5 (boring verses but chorus, post-chorus, and synths reminded me of the ’80s and Mylo’s X tracks)
Dance With Me — 3/5 (again, some good elements, but overall the song is too long and repetitive)
Give You Now — 4/5 (simple, but could’ve been a very strong b-side or a bonus for a some Golden single — gives me emotopop/ Tightrope vibes with its melancholy)
Hey, It’s Just The Way I Feel — 4/5 (catchy song but for Kiss Me Once it would’ve soundes dated, like a late-2000s Scissor Sisters disco track; the chorus is classic Jake Shears)
How Does It Feel Like — 2/5 (nothing really special in terms of melody)
In The Air — 2/5 (nice build-up, but like in the majority of early-2010s electropop songs, the drop is ridiculously bad — attempt to record another Get Up (Rattle))
Kiss of Life — 1/5 (nothing is really happenning in this one)
KylieWood — 1/5 (it’s so bad that it’s good. I wonder what the campaign would look like if this song got released)
The Darkenss — 3/5 (really enjoying instrumental and darker vibe but lyrics are dreadful and the chorus is unfinished — but it has potential)
25 Hours — 2/5 (bass is juicy, Kylie sounds lazy like she’s high — a fun song, but not strong enough to be released)
Desert Flower — 2/5 (reggae rhythm caught me off guard in the verse; the chorus reminds me of Little Mix’s «Woman Like Me,» but the melody isn’t memorable)
I Wanna See You Cry — 5/5 (catchy chorus, great production — definite album track potential)
If I Close My Eyes — 3/5 (love the dubstep elements, but verses are too long and simple — bonus track material)
It Ain’t U — 2/5 (many elements but there’s no real hook — they just don’t work together)
Just My Luck — 3/5 (really strong 80s pop-rock vibes on the chorus)
Love Intervention — 4/5 (energetic song that lacks the most important thing: an extra punch or any trendy element)
More — 4/5 (chorus is very catchy, but the song needed to be much shorter)
One Last Shot — 3/5 (it’s like she was trying to make Golden with dubstep drums in 2014; the beginning sounds empty but in the end I kinda like it — could’ve been a Golden bonus track after Lost Without You)
Slow Motion Fighting — 2/5 (one more song with an unimpressive drop that tries to be energetic but ends up repetitive)
Spinning The Sound — 3/5 (has lots of potential but I don’t quite get it yet)
Summer Nights — 3/5 (nice little song with «free music for vloggers» vibes)
Nuclear — 3/5 (nice dynamics, but again it’s too generic to be released)
Love Is — 4/5 (an odd Body Language track and of course I like this vibe, since BL is my most-played album ever; sounds like a slightly weaker version of Colour My Life)
Right Here Beside You — 3/5 (reminds me of earlier leaks such as In The Name of Love and Fall Out of Love — nice electropop but still lacking personality, the same issue so many pop acts had back then trying that sound)
Second to Midnight — 3/5 (didn’t expect to hear them both on the demo version, and it’s already sounds like a standard Y&Y track, but glad they strengthened the verses and turned it into a proper pop gem)
You Got All I Need (Monday) — 4/5 (great development, single-worthy if it’s from KMO sessions)
Feel — 4/5 (catchy hook but the drop in the end isn’t really finished, could’ve been an album track)
Got Me Good — 3/5 (love the early 2000s nu-disco vibes, reminds me of Baby, but the vocals and music on verses are clashing)
Burning Goodbye — 5/5 (single material that needs just a little more polishing)
We Go Nowhere — 2/5 (again, interesting to hear Kylie collaborating with more urban artists, but her part in this song is very weak — the song really goes nowhere)
Into The Light — 3/5 (the original — Cascade by Tommy Trash is great — but here verses are quite mediocre)
Eyes Closed — 4/5 (really nice pop song — way better than KMO title track but with similar vibe)
On and On — 4/5 (has great potential and could be an album track)
Wasn’t Looking for Love — 4/5 (very interesting direction for Golden; playful and fun, could’ve been an album track)
Gold Dust — 4/5 (good song but don’t know if it fits any of her albums)
